Will I be able to witness snowfall in the Gaumukh Tapovan trek in the 2nd week of October?

Published On 01 Mar 2020 by Oshank Soni

Gaumukh Tapovan is said to be one of the most ancient treks in the Indian subcontinent. There are lots to look out for in this trek. The major point of attraction is the awesome real source of the Ganges ? the Gaumukh.

When you are staring at the Gaumukh, you will be surprised by the length and breadth of the glacier. It is pretty big. You can closely see the glacier rising out, along with small rocks that have been put upon it around so many days. The Ganges has an everlasting effect on the life, culture, and lifestyle of the Indians. For so many years, it is flowing with the ethnicity of India. Observing such a sacred river from its point of origination surely gives the thrills. This has a magical effect on all travelers. You get an awesome view of Mt Shivling. That?s a beautiful sight. This mountain is famed as one of the most beautiful mountains in the Indian subcontinent. So, yes October would be a pleasant time to visit the same.
