Why is Uttarakhand Himalaya best for trekking?

Published On 01 Mar 2020 by Oshank Soni

Designated as the land of the Indian state of Uttarakhand. This state is situated towards the west of Nepal. It is in the geometric centre of the Himalayan ranges. The Aryans of the Indian subcontinent have always made sacred walks to the origin of the Ganges. This glacier comes from the Gangotri which is at higher altitudes in the Himalayas. It is host to Nanda Devi, the second-highest mountain peak in India. It also hosts many different 7000m+ ranges. Uttarakhand is a great place for trekkers.
Popularly called as the Garhwal Himalayas, it is again sub-divided into the east part Kumaon division and the west part Garhwal division. There is a facility of transportation by flights which are available daily. These flights can be boarded towards Dehradun from the metro city of Delhi. These are leading to the mountainous region. The little township of Rishikesh located along the banks of the Ganges provides a comfortable rest taking place for those who are on this trekking expedition.
