Published On 01 Mar 2020 by Oshank Soni

Munnar is a paradise on Earth. It?s a part of the Incredible Kerala tourist. It is one of the most beautiful hill stations in the southern region of the Indian subcontinent. It provides several trek options and is ideal for trekking. The most recommended would be a trek to Thoovanam falls. The falls are mystical and will be a feast to your weary eyes. It is around 45 km from Munnar valley, it is proximately located near Marayoor. From the Alampetty checkpost, you need to trek around 3 km which takes around 45 mins to reach the waterfall. This trek gauging along Chinnar wildlife sanctuary has some of the most beautiful flora and fauna. You will get to see several elephants, squirrels and a distinctive variety of birds. From there, you can plan to go to Thoovanam and enjoy its forest guest house. This spot will give you the experience of a starry night in the laps of nature. So pack your bags now.
