Which is more important in a trek, physical or mental fitness?

Published On 01 Mar 2020 by Oshank Soni

You decided to go on a trek, that shows your willingness to try something new. Next, you draw some light on your physical health. You ask yourself a few questions related to it.

1. Are you capable of walking long distances with heavy baggage for a short duration or along Duration?

2. Do you have conditions for altitude sickness?

3. Do you have low blood pressure or hypertension problem?

Now coming to mental health. You might again need to ask yourself a few more questions regarding your mental situation.

1. Can you work under the leadership of someone else and doing stuff their way?

2. Can you handle pressure during desperate times?

3. Can you keep your mind relax?

If you can answer these questions with full confidence and actually mean them, then you?re already halfway through. So now you see that both physical and mental health are equally important and responsible for a good adventurous trekking experience.
