Which are the best treks to explore around Navi Mumbai?
Ramsey is a place 14kms from Nashik. Having its name comes from the history of Ramayana. This place is known to have been a place where Lord Rama rested during his exile. This fort also has a history of being attacked by Aurangzeb for five and a half years after the death of Shivaji Maharaj. It is an easy trek with temples and caves on its way.
Don?t miss the chor-darwaja on the west. It is a bit slippery by it, an excellent place to go to with a group of friends.
Rajmachi Fort is located 80kms from Pune and 94kms from Mumbai. The trek is quite challenging and is the best place for nature lovers. It is at a height of 2,710 feet. The entire path is covered with dense forest on both sides. There are two forts Shri Vardhan and manaranjan. This place is 15kms from Lonavala.
