Which are the best trekking destinations in Kerala? How was the experience?

Munnar is a hill station that was built in the 19th century. It lies in the Western Ghats mountain range. Having a height of around 5,000 feet, Munnar hill has many hiking trails all around it. Thoovanam waterfalls are among the most beautiful waterfall in Kerala. It is a popular trekking trail in Munnar. Anamudi peak being in a 20km distance from Munnar is the highest peak in South India, at an altitude of 8,842ft. It is famous for kurunji flowers that bloom once in every 12 years.

Wayanad is a rural district in Kerala, southwest India. With a height of 6,900ft. Wayanad has some pretty amazing spots on its way. Thusharagiri waterfalls being among the best place has the most beautiful and scenic waterfall. The fall drops from a height of 75km.

Agasthyakoodam being at a distance from Trivandrum, is at the height of 6201ft, making it the second-highest peak in Kerala. It has been declared as a natural park covering 23sq.kms in the area. The trek is of 28kms and takes two days. You will find camps and guides on your way.
