Which are the best places in Himachal for mid-December trekking with a low budget and low risk (just to chill out)?

Published On 01 Mar 2020 by Oshank Soni

Triund trek has been the best destination throughout the year. Being on a height of 2,850ft can still give you chills. It is easy to go trek with fascinating places in between. The trek starts from Mcleodganj, a beautiful place to visit too.

Bijli Mahadev, as the name states it is a holy place as Lord Shiva sits on the top of the hill, having an astonishing temple. It is said to have been safeguarding the valley of Kullu for many centuries. With a height of 2,500ft, the trek starts from Khansari village near Kullu.

Chamba Dalhousie treks the 35km long trek with take you through some awakening spots you will never want to come back from. The height is 8,000 ft. But it?s worth it. The trek has 2-3 camps on the way to stay at night. Along the way, you?ll find a khajjiar wildlife sanctuary covering the dense forest in between. Comparing the km and the height is a way too easy trek to walk through.
