Where can I rent trekking types of equipment at Sankri for Kedarkantha trek?
Kedarkantha, being one of the most popular winter treks in Uttarakhand, is a trekker's delight as it offers innumerable panoramic views throughout the trek. It also provides a great chance to feel and absorb the beauty of the remote villages nearby. At 1900m from Kedarkantha, one comes across the last town with road connectivity. This village is Sankri, and it is the base camp for the trek. One can find a number of shops at Sankri, which provide trekking equipment like gears, sleeping bags, and tents on rent. The charges vary according to the seasons. One of these rentals is situated in Saud, Sankri. It is called Himalayan High Trekker's Lodge and is located on the Taluka Road in Saud, which is a little ahead of the starting point of the trek.
