What precautions should be taken while trekking in a dense forest?

Published On 01 Mar 2020 by Oshank Soni

Trekking in the dense forest can be dangerous since there are a lot of wild animals and poisonous insects roaming around in the forest. Certain precautions must be taken while going to a dense forest for trekking:

1. Make sure to take permission from the higher authority before going to endangered zones so that you can be rescued officially if anything goes wrong.

2. Always try trekking light. Take only the necessary things such as water, rope, torch and some first aid with you always when you go trekking anywhere.

3. Travel in groups. Don?t prefer going on a trek all by yourself. Coordinate with trekking groups and go with them.

4. Wear clothes so that your body is covered in the jungle. You need to prepare yourself according to the unexpected encounter with different types of creatures in the jungle.

5. Move-in accordance with the location of the forest whether it?s on a mountain or in the plains.
