What is the height of the Kuari pass?
The height of the Kuari top is 4264 meters or 13990 ft. Located in the district of Chamoli, Uttarakhand, Kuari is situated in the south of the Tibet border and also on the western edge of the Nanda Devi Biosphere Reserve, meaning’ doorway’ in the local language.
It is surrounded by imposing mountain ranges, including the Kamet, which extends up to 7756 meters of dizzying height. Kuari Top is like an amphitheater at an altitude of 4264 meters, where some of the stalwart Himalayan peaks take the stage. The club of 7000 meters includes the Kamet (7756 m), Trishul (7120 m), Chaukhamba (7128 m), and Nanda Devi (7817 m), and its twin Nanda Devi East (7434 m).
