What are some of the best treks above 6000 meters near the Nanda Devi mountain range in Uttarakhand?

Published On 01 Mar 2020 by Oshank Soni

Some of the best treks near Nanda Devi Mountain Range are as follows:

? Nanda Ghunti Peak (6,309 m): situated around the outer part of the Nanda Devi Sanctuary, one can have a great view of the peak from the Bedni Bugyal meadows. Although it is not very above in height, it requires the right skill-set and strength to trek this peak.

? Nanda Devi Sanctuary Trek (7,816 m): this trek offers you an opportunity to witness several endangered animals and around 100 high-altitude bird species living here. The best time to visit is from April to June.

? Joan Peak (6,632 m): another trek that demands the right skills and strength, Joanali Peak consists of tricky pathways and steep slopes. The best added time to visit the place is around post-monsoon.

? Trishul I Peak (7,145 m): This trek is considered to be one of the most challenging treks because of the heavy wind and high altitude. The best time to go trek at this place is between July and September.
