Is it worth doing Tarsar Marsar trek during the last week of September?

Published On 01 Mar 2020 by Oshank Soni

In Pahalgam in Kashmir, Tarsar and Marsar are two wetlands. You have to cross wetlands, woodlands, and various river banks to get into this area. In fact, at the end of September, it?s beautiful. There is a beautiful lake, called Marsar, a little ahead of Tarsar, which also contains several dark stories.

The visitors hardly camp near Marsar Lake and from a height see the spectacular panorama of the lake. By walking an hour from Lake Tarsar you can have a limited view of the lake. Or, for another hour to hike to Sundarsar Lake to view the whole lake with the bird?s eye.

Between April to September, you should stroll at any moment. June and July are the best months when greenery and clear weather can be seen. The trek guide actually tells frequently that foreigners particularly come to skiing here during the winter season.
