Is it safe to trek Kareri Lake in a monsoon?

Published On 17 May 2020 by Harshit Patel

Kareri Lake Trek is situated at a height of around 9,500 feet in the Kangra area of Himachal Pradesh. It is an ideal end of the week escape on the off chance that you need to turn off from your dull everyday practice and draw near to nature. Generally, monsoon is not a good time to visit Hampta Pass. Late July and early August should be avoided because of landslides in this region. The trail also gets very slippery and hence it proves to be risky for the trekkers.
