Is it safe to trek alone to Mullayanagiri?s peak from Sarpadhari in July?

Published On 17 May 2020 by Harshit Patel

Mullayanagiri is Karnataka's highest peak. It is a character of Baba Budangiri Hills of Chikmagalur taluk and rises up 6,330 feet. It is not a difficult trek as most of the trek is on grasslands and very little in the forests.
First-timers should never do any trek alone but for a professional trekker, this trek is an easy task except during monsoons the place receives a lot of rain and can cause slippery so one should always hire a guide rather than going solo during monsoons.
