How safe is the trek to Brahmatal in Uttarakhand in mid-January?

Published On 17 May 2020 by Harshit Patel

Brahmatal is a high altitude Himalayan trek which has a maximum altitude of around 12,500 feet. It is one of the best snow treks in India. Generally, this trek is considered to be an easy trek all over the year except during the winter. During winter, the whole trail is covered in a blanket of snow and this makes the Kedarkantha trek remarkable during the winters. You will be privileged to witness high mountain peaks covered entirely in white and fresh snow. There is snowfall in this region during mid-January. The temperature during this time falls below 0-degree centigrades and can even reach a minimum of -10 degree centigrade. In order to visit and enjoy this trek, one should be fully prepared to tackle the low temperatures. Overall, it will certainly ensure an endless boulevard of memories to cherish.
