How is the experience at Tungnath trek in late December?

Tungnath trek is more popularly known by Deoriatal Chandrashila trek. Deoriatal Chandrashila is the most beautiful and adventurous trek in India. Dubbed by the name of Mini Switzerland in winters, Deoriatal Chandrashila trek is one of the best treks in India to start trekking. The diversity of the trek accompanied by grand views and terrific mountain settings makes this one of the best treks in India for beginners. The trail is composed in such a way that you will never lose your direction. The highest point of the trek, known as the Chandrashila peak, is situated at a whopping elevation of 13,600. In order to reach the summit and retreat back, one has to trek 30 kilometers and it will take around 5 days to successfully accomplish the trek. Tungnath trek starts from Sari village which is a 10-hour drive from Haridwar. Late December is a good time to experience the Tungnath trek. There are high possibilities of snowfall during this time of the year. In fact, late December is when Tungnath trek receives its first snowfall.
