How do I open a camping site in India?

Published On 01 Mar 2020 by Oshank Soni

Where you are traveling, that depends. There are many campgrounds in India where you can pitch easily and even get acquainted. But remember that India is not a small spot, and every few hundred miles culture/language changes. For instance, Pushkar, a little town in Rajasthan, is busy with foreign tourists, and people are open, but Ajmer may not be a town nearby.

Keep this in mind as you raise your tent-
1. People-Stay close to the travelers and stay away from the local people. You do not want to offend them. You want to hurt them.
2. Animals-Leopards are a common sight should you visit the Himalayas.
3. Clothes-Don?t play in a suit even if the river?s too hot or too hospitable. The nation isn?t all Goa.
4. Place-Pitch not near the mud hut of a poor man.
Pitch-off. India is a lovely, backpacking country. Security is a concern.
