The different possibilities for cancellation and how to go about it:
If you have to cancel your trek because of some unavoidable reason, you must notify Trekmunk Pvt. Ltd. immediately in writing. Once we receive your mail, cancellation process will start. Please note that the following charges will apply on cancellation:
〉 If cancellation takes place more than 45 days prior to departure, you will be refunded the full amount except 10% processing charge.
〉 If cancellation takes place between 45 and 30 days prior to departure, 50% of the amount will be refunded.
〉 If cancellation takes place less than 30 days prior to departure, No refund.
Note: Trekmunk reserves the right to cancel the trek if minimum group size is not met. Should you wish to customize the trip as per your preferred date, separate charges will apply.
Delay, Cancellation or Change of Itinerary :
Trekmunk Pvt. Ltd. will not be entitled to refund or compensation if the trek has to be canceled in any way because of natural disaster, terrorist activity, riot, fire, adverse weather conditions or any other unforeseen situations. It is possible that the trek might get delayed or the route has to be changed due to some adverse weather conditions, political situations or any such extremity. In case of such delay or a route change, participants are not entitled to any refund or compensation of loss or damage.
Health and fitness:
Trekmunk expects trekkers to be of moderate fitness. If you suffer from severe muscular, chest, heart, asthmatic, or bronchial disorders, or have high blood pressure you are advised against coming on to a high altitude trek. Everyone has to get a medical certificate from the doctor, which is mandatory.
Please note: Discovery of any undisclosed medical conditions during the trek will result in you being asked to leave the trek.
Trekmunk reserves the right to cancel your participation in a trek at any time after trek commencement with no right of refund if your lack of fitness, medical condition and/or disability could reasonably affect the trek or your safety and/or the enjoyment of other trek members.
Personal travel insurance is not included in the trek price. We recommend you to opt for a Travel Insurance. Your travel insurance must cover accidents, injury, illness, and death medical expenses, including any related to pre-existing medical conditions, emergency repatriation (including helicopter rescue and air ambulance where applicable) and personal liability.
Trekmunk reserves the right to take photographs of participants of a trek that may be used for promotional purposes.
Documents and Passport:
Please carry valid Identity cards with you all the times and Foreigners should carry their valid passport and visa with them all the time.
